JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's golf team shot a first round total of 302 to tie for ninth in a 16-team field at the Sunnehanna Collegiate hosted by Pitt-Johnstown at the Sunnehanna Country Club. Gannon has the first round lead with a 285. Mattia Parrini of Gannon is leading with a score of 67. 
 
Junior Joey Leisinger  (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) led the Rams with a 73 to tie for 17th. He is followed by Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) (75, T-30th), junior Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (76, T-40th), junior Nop Satjavitvisarn  (Yannawa Bangkok,/Thailand International Community School) (78, T-55th), freshman Andrew Taylor (Summit Point, W.Va./Washington) (80, T-68th), and junior Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (81, T-76th). 
 
The Rams return to action on Tuesday for final round tourney action.
