Box Score 2 SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (2-0) won a pair of matches in first day action of the Ram Rumble at the Butcher Center on Friday. The Rams opened with a 3-0 win over Bowie State (25-13, 25-23, 22) in the morning and added a 3-1 triumph over Mars Hill (25-17, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22) in a later match.
Sophomore outside hitter
Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) had nine kills and sophomore outside hitter
Jordan Pryor (Middletown, Md./Middletown) added eight to pace the Rams in the win over Bowie State.
Freshman setter
Skylar Bishop (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (15) and junior setter
Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) (13) combined for 28 assists.
Junior libero
Madigan Faircloth (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/Liberty University) topped the Rams with 15 digs and five assists.
Nicole Taylor led the Bulldogs with seven kills. Trinity Loundmon added nine assists and six digs, while Taylor Johnson had a team-high eight digs.

The Rams return to Ram Rumble action on Saturday when they take on Glenville State at 1 p.m. and Edinboro at 5 p.m.
