LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) of the Shepherd University women's golf team has been named PSAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Veara shot a two-round total of 154 to take medalist honors at the Kutztown Fall Classic. She shot a 75 and 79 over the two days to finish atop the leaderboard. It is her second win in as many weeks, as she also was the medalist at the Cardinal Classic on Sept. 29.
