BLOOMSBURG,
Pa. – The Shepherd University men's golf team had a pair of teams compete at the Husky Invitational at the Frosty Volley Golf Course on Thursday. The Blue team finished in second place, while the Gold team finished in seventh in an eight-team field. Millersville shot a one-round total of 294 to take team honors. Logan Wagner of Millersville took medalist honors with a 70.
Freshman
Killian Donnelly (Palmyra, Va./Palmyra) fired a 71 and tied for second place to lead the Rams. He was followed by senior
Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (72, 4th), senior
Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (74, T-6th), and senior
Nop Satjavitvisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, Thailand/International Community School) (78, T-15th).
Sophomore
Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) led the Gold team with a 75 and finished in eighth place. He was followed by sophomore
Andrew Taylor (Summit Point, W.Va./Washington) (79, T-21st), freshman
Chris Apperson (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) (81, T-28th), and sophomore
Ben Heidrick (Rosedale, Md. Calvert/Hall) (87, T-39th).
Senior
Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) carded an 81 to tie for 28th. Senior
Luke Davis (Clear Brook, Va./James Wood) shot an 88 to finish 41st.
The Rams return to action on October 17 when they travel to Lebanon, Pa. for the PSAC Championship.
