LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Four members of the Shepherd University volleyball team were named to the 2025 All-PSAC East Team as announced by the league office on Thursday. Senior setter
Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) and junior middle hitter/right side
Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) were first team selections, while junior outside hitter
Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) and freshman outside hitter
Ada McCoy (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) gained second team honors.
Buso, a second team choice last season, has appeared in all 29 matches and 113 sets. She tops the team in assists (1,014) and assists per set. (8.97). Her 211 digs are second on the team, while her 29 aces and 59 blocks are third.
Ryan, a repeat first team honoree, has appeared in all 29 matches and 113 sets. She boasts a .371 attack percentage that leads the PSAC and ranks her 28th nationally. Ryan has 264 kills, a team-best 134 blocks, 37 digs, and 12 aces. Her 1.20 blocks per set average ranks her fourth in the PSAC and 21st nationally.
Davis has appeared in all 29 matches and 112 sets. She tops the team with 49 aces. She has recorded 278 kills, 155 digs, 37 blocks, and eight assists. Her 278 kills are second on the team.
McCoy has appeared in all 29 matches and 113 sets. She leads the team with 337 kills and a 2.98 kills per set mark. She has added 161 digs, 56 blocks, 27 aces, and 15 assists.
