SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore forward Lamaria Estridge (Walkersville, Md./St. Andrew's Episcopal) scored a game-high 23 points to lead Shepherd (2-2) to a 74-52 win over Point Park (2-1) in women's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Wednesday.
Estridge was 10-of-22 from the floor with a 3-of-8 effort from three-point range.
Freshman forward Vilte Kacerauskaite (Waldorf, Md./Saint Mary's) added 10 points, while

Summer Shackelford (Amissville, Va./Highland School) had eight points, and a team-high seven boards. Junior guard
Kara Wehner (Staten Island, N.Y./Xaverian) contributed eight points, six assists, and four steals.
Elizabeth Boyd had 15 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Pioneers. Alexis Giles added 11 points.
Shepherd had a 40 percent (32-80) field goal percentage with a 25 percent (7-28) effort from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit 25 percent (3-12) from the foul line.
Point Park connected on 34.5 percent (20-58) of its field goals with a 26.7 percent effort (4-15) from three-point range. The Panthers hit 42.1 percent (8-19) of their free throws.
The Pioneers had a 58-39 rebounding edge. Shepherd forced 29 turnovers and committed 6.
The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Fairmont State for a 1 p.m. contest.
