BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Junior middle hitter/middle blocker Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) of the Shepherd University volleyball team has been named to the 2025 D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Volleyball Team as selected by the region's sports information directors.  Ryan gained second team honors for the second consecutive year.

Ryan has appeared in all 29 matches and 113 sets. She boasts a .371 attack percentage that leads the PSAC and ranks her 23rd nationally. She has 264 kills, a team-best 134 blocks, 37 digs, and 12 aces. Ryan's 1.20 blocks per set average ranks her fourth in the PSAC and 23rd nationally.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they face Pitt-Johnstown at 7 p.m. in first round action of the NCAA II Atlantic Regionals at Gannon Universioty.
