PAWLEY'S ISLAND, SC. – The Shepherd University men's team competed in first round action at the Pawley's Island Invitational at The Founders Club at Pawley's Island on Wednesday. The men are in 14th place in 15-team field. 
 
Junior Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) led the Rams as he tied for 52nd (+ 9) after first-round action. He was followed by junior Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (T-63rd, +11),  junior Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (T-84th, +15), freshman Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) (T-87th, +16), freshman Andrew Taylor (Summit Point, W.Va./Washington) (T-92nd, +18) and freshman Ben Heidrick (Rosedale, Md./Calvert Hall) (T-99th, +21).

The Rams return on Thursday for final round action.
