WASHINGTON Pa. –The Shepherd University men's and women's golf teams completed final round action at the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pines Country Club on Tuesday. The men finished in sixth place in an 11-team field. The women finished eighth in an eight-team field. California (Pa.) took the men's team title while Millersville took the women's team title. Tim Peters of Millersville fired a two-round total of 144 to take the men's medalist honors. Charley Kirby of Millersville carded a two-round total of 165 to take the women's medalist honors. 

Junior Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown)  fired a 156 to finish in 12th place to lead the men. He was followed by junior Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico)  (T-13th, 157), junior Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (T-17th, 160),  freshman Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) (T-34th, 166), and junior  Nop Satjavitvisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, /Thailand International Community School)(T-44th, 171). 
 
Junior Sara Veara, (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) shot a 176 to finish in fifth place to lead the women. She was followed by graduate student Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (T-20th, 193),  freshman Kaylie Brown  (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (T-37th, 227), junior Ava Biafore (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) (43rd, 330), and freshman Paige Stickley (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) (44th, 355).
 
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to the Alvernia Spring Invitational.
