WASHINGTON Pa. –The Shepherd University men's and women's golf teams completed final round action at the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pines Country Club on Tuesday. The men finished in sixth place in an 11-team field. The women finished eighth in an eight-team field. California (Pa.) took the men's team title while Millersville took the women's team title. Tim Peters of Millersville fired a two-round total of 144 to take the men's medalist honors. Charley Kirby of Millersville carded a two-round total of 165 to take the women's medalist honors.
