SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Tournament MVP Pace Prosser scored a game-high 29 points to lead Gannon (25-6) to a 74-58 win over Shepherd University (21-11) in the PSAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game at the Butcher Center on Sunday.
Prosser connected on 11-of-25 field goals with a 5-of-8 effort from three-point range. He was 2-of-2 from the charity stripe. Prosser added 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Carson Poffenberger (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) led the Rams with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Graduate student forward
Chase Paar (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg Country School/Towson) had 11 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and a steal. Sophomore guard
Marcus Banks (Clinton, Md./Riverdale Baptist) contributed 14 points, four rebounds, and a pair of assists.
Ernest Shelton and Justin Debuck each added 14 points for the Golden Knights.
Gannon had a 39-28 lead at halftime.
Shepherd opened the second half on a 6-0 run to rally to within five points at 39-34 after a layup by Paar with 16:16 left. Gannon proceeded on a 10-5 run to open up an 11-point lead at 49-38 with 12:18 remaining and held a double-digit advantage the rest of the game.
Shepherd connected on 32.8 percent (19-58) of its field goals with a 23.8 percent (5-21) performance from three-point range for the game. The Rams drained 71.4 percent (15-21) of their free throws.
Gannon shot 41.8 percent (28-67) from the floor with a 47.4 percent (9-19) effort from beyond the arc. The Golden Knights hit 71.4 percent (15-21) from the foul line.
Gannon had a 44-42 edge in rebounds. The Rams forced six turnovers and committed 13.
The Rams await word tonight on a possible seeding for the upcoming NCAA II Regionals.
