SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Kutztown at Shepherd University on Sunday. The men (1-9, 0-3 PSAC East) dropped a 7-0 decision to Kutztown (11-2, 1-1 PSAC East). The women (3-9, 0-4 PSAC East) came up short on a 6-1 decision to the Golden Bears (4-7, 2-0 PSAC East).

The men got a 6-3 win from sophomore Curry Taylor (Hurricane, W.Va./Hurricane) and Jeremy Williams (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County/Wooster) at number two doubles.
 
The women got a 6-3, 6-3 win from redshirt junior Victoria Ames (Wardensville, W.Va./East Hardy) at number six singles.

The women return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 3 p.m. match. The men return to action on April 26 when they host West Chester for a 2 p.m. match.
