DANVILLE, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team finished 11th in a 12-team field at the Husky Invitational at Frosty Valley Country Club on Thursday. Ammala Moua of Jefferson earned individual medalist honors with a 75. Alvernia took team honors with a team total of 338.

Junior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a 92 and finished tied for 18th. Veara was followed by graduate student Olivia Rosick, (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (101, T-40th), freshman Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (123, T-56th), junior Ava Biafore (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) (139, 62nd), and freshman Paige Stickley (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) (145, 64th).
 
The Rams return to action on April 25-27 when they travel to Kutztown for the PSAC Championship.
