WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Shepherd University golf teams completed final round action at the Dr. Edwin P. Cottrell Invitational at Penn Oaks Golf Club on Tuesday. The men finished fifth in a 12-team field, while the women's team had two members compete as individuals. Wilmington University took the men's team title, while Franklin Pierce University took the women's team title.

Junior Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) led the Rams as he fired a 155 and tied for ninth. He was followed by junior Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (156, T-12th), junior Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (158, T-18th), freshman Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) (165, T-34th), junior Nop Satjavitvisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, /Thailand International Community School) (170, T-47th) and junior Luke Davis (Clear Brook, Va. James Wood) (178, 61st).

Junior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a 161 and finished in third place for the women. She was followed by graduate student Olivia Rosick, (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (190, 28th).

The Rams return to action on April 16 for the Cecil C. Spadafora IUP Invitational.
