KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team is in 10th place in an 11-team field after first round action of the Millersville Women's Fall Classic at the Berkleigh Country Club on Monday.

Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired an 85 to tie for 35th place to lead the women. She was followed by freshman Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (96, T-50th), sophomore Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (100, 54th), sophomore Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (116, T-56th), and sophomore Paige Stickley (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) (137, 64th).
 
The Rams return to action on Tuesday for final round action.
