LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –  Junior middle hitter/right side Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) of the Shepherd University volleyball team has been named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

Ryan led the Rams (6-1) to a 4-0 week as she had 39 kills with an impressive .410 attack percentage. She added 18 blocks with seven solo blocks.
