KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team fired a total of 791 to finish in ninth place in an 11-team field after final round action of the Millersville Women's Fall Classic at the Berkleigh Country Club on Tuesday. West Chester took the team title with a 618. Cara Murphy of West Chester shot a 153 to take medalist honors.

Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a 161 to tie for 14th place to lead the Rams. She was followed by sophomore
Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (194, 48th), freshman
Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (228, 57th), and sophomore
Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (116, 60th). Sophomore
Paige Stickley (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) (137, 64th in first round) did not compete in second round action.
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to the Vulcan Invitational.
