BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team finished in fifth place in a seven-team field at the Vulcan Invitational at Cedarbrook Golf Course on Tuesday. Millersville took team honors. Marina Saviceva-Noti of Davis & Elkins gained medalist honors with a two-round score of 143.

Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a 149 and finished in second place to lead the women. She was followed by sophomore

Madison Burns (Hagerstown, Md./Grace Academy) (293, 31st), and freshman
Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (32nd).
The Rams return to action on Saturday for the Cardinal Classic.
