LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior guard Marcus Banks (Clinton, Md./Riverdale Baptist) of the Shepherd University men's basketball team has been named PSAC East Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. Banks earned PSAC weekly honors for the second time this season.

Banks averaged 22.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists to lead the Rams to a 2-0 week as Shepherd extended its winning streak to five games. Banks had 19 points in a win over Shippensburg on Monday and added 26 in a double-overtime win over East Stroudsburg on Saturday.
