BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team completed final-round action at the Vulcan Fire Classic at Cedarbrook Golf Course on Tuesday. The Rams finished ninth in a 12-team field with a team total of 780. Chloe Mateo of Gannon took individual medalist honors with a 151. Gannon took team honors with a 651. 

Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a two-round total of 165 finished tied for ninth place to lead the women. She was followed by freshman Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (200, 40th), freshman Addison Buckland (New Market, Md./Urbana) (203, 41st), sophomore Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (212, T-49th), and sophomore Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (229, 55th),  

The Rams return to action on April 3 for the Millersville Spring Classic.
