LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior guard
Marcus Banks (Clinton, Md./Riverdale Baptist) and sophomore guard
Elwyne Wordlaw (Frederick, Md./Frederick) of the Shepherd University men's basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 PSAC East All-Conference Team as announced by the league office on Thursday. Additionally, Shepherd head coach
Justin Namolik was selected as PSAC East Coach of the Year.
Namolik was awarded with Eastern Division Coach of the Year honors after finishing the regular season at 19-9 (15-6 PSAC) and claiming the East's No. 3 seed and a share of the regular season East Division championship.
Banks, a second team honoree last season, was a first team selection. Banks led the Rams in scoring (18.5 ppg), assists (4.5 apg), and steals 1.7 spg). He is second on the team in rebounding (5.3 rpg), and his 22 three-pointers are fourth on the team. He scored 20 points or more in 12 contests, including a career-high 32 points in the PSAC Tournament against California (Pa.). Banks was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week for November 18.
Wordlaw gained second team honors. He averaged 15.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 0.6 steals. His .824 free throw percentage topped the team, while his .472 field goal percentage was second on the team. His 58 three-pointers were third on the team. Wordlaw scored 20 points or more in a game 10 times, including a career-high 32-point effort against West Chester.
