SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Kutztown-Shepherd women's lacrosse game was suspended with Kutztown holding a 9-2 lead in the final minute of the second quarter in PSAC East women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Wednesday. The game was suspended after enduring several lightning delays.
Senior attacker
Rebekah Forney (Adamstown, Md./Mount De Sales) and freshman attacker
Hadley Robertson (New Market, Md./Linganore) each scored a goal for the Rams.
Sophomore midfielder
Grace Lyon (Ocean City, Md./McDonough) had five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Katie Yocum had three goals to lead the Golden Bears. Maddie Wagner and Madison Wenner each added a pair of goals.
The game will resume at Shepherd on April 20, with the start time yet to be determined.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Millersville for a 4 p.m. contest.
