SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Sadie Kauffman had four goals and Jolee Roth added three goals and five assists to lead #5 East Stroudsburg (16-0, 11-0 PSAC East) to a 21-3 win over Shepherd (2-11, 1-8 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Saturday.
Senior attacker
Rebekah Forney (Adamstown, Md./Mount De Sales) had a goal and an assist to pace the Rams.
Freshman attacker
Hadley Robertson (New Market, Md./Linganore) and junior midfielder
Aubrey Harrison (Fairmont, W.Va./Fairmont Senior) each netted a goal, while sophomore attacker
Kloey Batchellor (Hanover, Pa./South Western/York College) added an assist.
Junior defender
Luetta Seipp (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) led the team with three draw controls.
Paige Moreland added three goals and two assists for the Warriors.
Freshman netminder
Bailey Terry (Rockville, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) (14:55, 7 GA, 1 save) and senior goalkeeper
Destiny Rockwell (Glengary, W.Va./Musselman) (45:05, 14 GA, 10 saves) teamed up to record 11saves for the Rams. Abby Simonetti (30:00, 2 GA, 11 save) and Madison McBride (30:00, 1 GA, 5 saves) posted 16 saves for the Warriors.
The Warriors had a 41-23 advantage in shots and a 32-19 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd was 6-of-11 in clears while East Stroudsburg was 12-of-14. East Stroudsburg had an 11-9 advantage in ground balls and a 17-9 edge in draw controls.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 3 p.m. contest.
