WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Shepherd University Women's golf team completed final round action at the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational at Penn Oak Golf Club on Tuesday. The Rams finished sixth in a six-team field with a team total of 764. Gabi Aya New of New Haven took individual medalist honors with a 151. West Chester took team honors with a 635. 

Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a two-round total of 163 to tie for seventh place to lead the women. She was followed by freshman Addison Buckland (New Market, Md./Urbana) (199, 29th), sophomore Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (200, 30th), freshman Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (203, 31st), and sophomore Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (215, 33rd).  

The Rams return to action on  Thursday when they compete at the Husky Spring Invitational.
