DANVILLE, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team competed at the Husky Spring Invitational at Frosty Valley Golf Club on Thursday. The Rams finished in fifth in a 10-team field with a team total of 381. Noemi Krizso of Bloomsburg took individual medalist honors with a 78. Bloomsburg took team honors with a 344. 

Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired a 79 to finish in second place to lead the Rams. She was followed by freshman Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (97, T-27th), freshman Addison Buckland (New Market, Md./Urbana) (100, T-31st), sophomore Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (105, T-38th), sophomore Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (106, 40th), senior Ava Biafore (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) (129, T-51st), freshman Madison Burns (Hagerstown, Md./Grace Academy) (136, 54th), and sophomore Paige Stickley (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) (144, 56th).

The Rams return to action on Saturday for the Kutztown Spring Invitational.
