INDIANAPOLIS – The Shepherd University baseball team is ranked eighth in the latest 2026 NCAA Atlantic Region rankings released by the NCAA committee on Wednesday.
 
This is the final edition of the regional rankings before the announcement of the tournament field on Sunday, May 10.
 
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) has seven ranked teams.
 
Following the completion of the regular season and conference tournaments, six teams from the Atlantic Region will advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II Baseball Championships. The Atlantic Region Championships will feature two automatic qualifiers – the tournament champions from the PSAC and the MEC – and four at-large selections.
