KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Shepherd University women's soccer team is ranked 17th in the 2026 United Soccer Coaches Top 25 NCAA II Women's – National Preseason Poll.

Shepherd completed the 2025 season with a 12-2-6 overall record with a 7-1-6 mark in conference play. The PSAC champions advanced to the Atlantic Regional finals before dropping a 1-0 decision to West Chester.

The Rams open the 2026 season on August 27 when they host West Virginia State for a 1 p.m. contest.
