DANVILLE, Pa. –The Shepherd University men's golf team fired a 315 in the first round and is tied for fourth in an eight-team field after completing play at the Bloomsburg Invite at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Saturday.

Redshirt sophomore Killian Donnelly (Palmyra, Va./Palmyra) led the Rams as he fired a 74 to rank in sixth place. He was followed by freshman Brady Reed (Kearneysville, W.Va./Washington) (78, T-17th), junior Ben Heidrick (Rosedale, Md./Calvert Hall) (81, T-26th), and freshman Luke Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (83, T-28th). Freshman Tyler Beard (Beaver, W.Va./Shady Spring) and junior Andrew Taylor (Summit Point, W.Va./Washington) each shot an 84 to tie for 37th place.

The Rams return to action on Sunday for final round action.
