Shepherd  Cross Country Teams Compete at Galen Piper Cross Country Challenge

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's cross country team finished ninth out of 10 teams, and the men had three competitors at the Galen Piper Cross Country Challenge on Friday night.

Junior Zoe Boyd (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) led the Rams as she finished 68th with a time of 17:40.3 in the 4K event. She was followed by freshman Aubrey VanSickle (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) (17:44.3, 71st),  sophomore Luella Mansheim (Lewisburg, W.Va./Greenbrier East) (17:49.6, 79th), sophomore Ximena Bolaños Tellez (Mineral de la Reforma, Mexico/Colegio Makarenko) (18:42.5, 93rd), freshman Dalija Dulaney (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (19:54.7, 108th), sophomore Jaclyn Unger (Winchester, Va./Millbrook) (23:30.4, 121st), and junior Laci Slick (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman/Garrett Community College/ Hagerstown Community College) (24:56.0, 122nd).

Sophomore Logan Feeg (Robesonia, Pa. /Conrad Weiser) finished 50th with a time of 21:10.0 in the 6K event to lead the Rams. He was followed by senior Connor Ireland (Charles Town, W.Va./Jefferson) (25:26.8, 124th) and junior Jackson Fiolek (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Washington) (26:38.1, 129th).

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Shenandoah University for the SU Twilight.
