2019: Appeared in nine games with six starts ... recorded 22 tackles (21 solo) ... added three pass breakups and a forced fumble ... had one kick return for seven yards.

2018: Appeared in nine games with six starts ... recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) ... added three pass breakups.

2017: Appeared in 10 games with four starts ... recorded 25 tackles (24 solo) with one sack (-9 yards) ... added a team-best eight pass breakups and a fumble recovery.

2016: Appeared in all 14 games.  Posted one kickoff return for 16 yards.  Added 43 tackles including 30 solo, 1.5 tackles-for-loss (-2 yards), one interception and eight pass breakups.

2015: Redshirted. 

Prior to Shepherd: A 2015 graduate of Milford Mill Academy where he played football for Reggie White.

Personal: The son of Stacey Turner ... majoring in sports marketing.
