Prior to Shepherd: A 2015 graduate of Lewis County High School where he played for Eddie Vincent ... also lettered in baseball and track ... earned Class AAA First Team All State Defense honors in 2013 ... led the state in interceptions his junior season... named to First Team All-State and First Team All-Big 10 ... helped his team to the Big 10 Conference Championship and three state playoff appearances ... state qualifier in track ... garnered honorable mention All-State honors in baseball ... averaged 70 tackles per year over three years and recorded 15 career interceptions ... two-time recipient of the Good Hands award.
