Prior to Shepherd: A 2016 graduate of Sussex Technical High School where he played for Mark Quillin ... also played basketball, baseball and ran track, lettering two years in track ... garnered all-conference honors... helped his team to win the Henlopen North Conference title in 2014... finished high school with 1000 all purpose yards, 12 touchdowns and 50 tackles.

Personal: Son of Patrick Sr. and Tashanda Griffin ... majoring in criminal justice.
