2021: Appeared in 12 games ... recorded 29 tackles (12 solos) and a pass breakup  ... had pass breakup in win over Notre Dame ... recorded a career-high seven tackles (two solos) against Ferris State.

2020-21: Appeared in the Mercyhurst game ... recorded three solo tackles and added a forced fumble.

2019: Did not see any action.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2019 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School where he played football for Eric Pilson ... lettered in football, basketball, and track ... a two-time first team All-Conference  and first team All-Region selection at linebacker and defensive back ... a first team All-Conference and first team All-Region choice at wide receiver and kick returner ...  a third team All-State hurdler ... recorded 238 tackles, 28 tackles-for-loss,17 sacks, and three interceptions ...   added  455 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Personal: The son of Dracena and Calvin Lynch ... is undecided upon a major ... his sister, Taylor, played basketball at Northern Virginia Community College ... his mother played basketball at North Carolina Wesleyan.
