2021: Placed first (65th overall, 20:53.1) for the Rams at the 11th Annual Galen Piper XC Challenge ...finished second (132nd overall, 32:08.4) on the team at the D II/D III Challenge at Kutztown ... placed first on the team (108th overall, 31:44.161) at Dickinson Long-Short Invitational ... placed second (55th overall, 25:00.1) for the Rams at the Hood College Open ... finished second (165th overall, 29:25.5) for the Rams at the PSAC Championships at Kutztown. 

2020-21: Placed second (23rd overall, 26:17.3) for the Rams at the IUP Welcome Back Invite ... placed second (144th overall, 26:19.3) at PSAC Championships.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2018 graduate of Jefferson High School where she ran track for Craig Hunter ... lettered four years in track and swimming ... also lettered one year in volleyball ... competed in the 200 free style and 200 medley relay at the state swimming championships ... finished fourth in the state and third in the region in the 100-yard free style in 2017 ... placed sixth in the state shuttle relays in track in 2017 ... finished fourth in the 4X4 relay and the shuttle hurdle relay at the Jim Taylor Relays in 2017 ... placed second in the shuttle hurdle relay at the Cardinal Classic in 2018 ... earned Academic Achievement Award every year for each sport.

Personal: The daughter of Donna Joy and Marty Garcia ... majoring in environmental science ... is in the honors program.
