Prior to Shepherd: A 2013 graduate of North East High School where she played softball for Ed Lynch and Kim Evans... lettered in softball and field hockey... a four-time All-County selection in softball... a three-time All-County choice in field hockey... earned Player of the Year honors in 2012.

Personal: The daughter of David and Misty Buckworth... majoring in sport marketing.
