Give yourself the best opportunity to be a Ram by doing the following steps during your high school career. Several links are also listed below to help you better understand the recruiting process.

Freshman year:

• Work with your guidance counselor on scheduling NCAA certified core courses through your high school career.
• Attend camps

Sophomore year:

• Sign up with the NCAA Eligibility Center
• Fill out the SU Team Questionnaire
• Contact the Head Coach via email expressing your interest

After June 15^th preceding your junior year, coaches can contact you by phone, email, text, and select social media. There are no limits on the number of phone calls, emails, or text messages that an athlete or a coach can make to one another.

Junior year:

• Schedule to take the SAT/ACT
• Send film to the Head Coach
• Contact Admissions Office about Campus Tour and set up time to meet with coaches
• Attend a home game (Composite Schedule)

Before Senior year:

• Inquire about Tryout Opportunities
• Send both your high school and/or travel ball schedules to the Head Coach
• Learn about the National Letter of Intent Program
• Apply to Shepherd University
