2023: Appeared in 26 games with 23 starts ... batted .222 with 16 hits in 72 at-bats ... drove in 18 runs and scored 11 ... added three doubles and four home runs ... drew 14 walks and was hit-by pitch three times ... had three sacrifice flies ... was 1-of-1 in stolen bases ... posted a .990 fielding percentage in 210 chances.

2022: Appeared in 20 games with 18 starts ... batted .119 with seven hits in 59 at-bats ... drove in five runs and scored nine ... drew seven walks and was hit-by-pitch  three times ... had one sacrifice fly ... posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 172 chances.

2021: Appeared in 19 games with 18 starts ... batted .231 with nine hits in 39 at-bats ... scored 10 runs and drove in eight ... added one triple and  a pair of home runs ... drew 16 walks and was hit-by-pitch once ... was 1-of-1 in stolen bases ... recorded a .985 fielding percentage in 130 chances.

2020: Appeared in nine games with six starts ... batted. .200 with four hits in 20 at-bats ... scored four runs and drove in six .. added a double ... drew a pair of walks and was hit-by-pitch twice ... posted a .981 fielding percentage in 54 chances.

2019: Did not see any action. 

Prior to Shepherd: A 2018 graduate of West Potomac High School where he played baseball for Jim Sullivan ...a three-year letterwinner in baseball ... missed senior season .. a first team All-Conference honoree as a junior ... hit .400 with a conference-best four home runs as a junior.

Personal: The son of Jeff Edwards and Kristi Richards ... majoring in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice ... his grandfather, Donald Richards, played baseball for the Houston Astros.
