Prior to Shepherd: A graduate of Hedgesville High School where he played baseball for Eric Grove ... lettered in baseball and football  ... garnered First Team All-State, Journal Player of the Year, and State Player of the Year Finalist honors ... also earned Second Team All-Conference honors  ... a 2023 State Runner-Up ... a transfer from Hagerstown Community College where he played baseball for Scott Jennings ... gained honorable mention All-Conference honors at HCC in 2025 as he batted .337 with 58 hits, 57 runs scored, and 44 stolen bases.
