Biography

2012: Appeared in 14 games with seven starts. batted .083 with a pair of hits in 24 at-bats. Scored three runs. Recorded a .965 fielding percentage in 57 attempts.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2011 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School where he played baseball for Shepherd Hall of Famer Greg Chandler. A four-year letterwinner in baseball. A two-time Mid Penn Colonial Division All-Star. Named to 2009 Patriot-News All Underclassmen Team. Selected as a First Team Public Opinion All-Star in 2011 when he batted .333 with 13 RBIs and a .569 slugging percentage. He also picked off seven runners at second base and gunned down three would-be base stealers.

Personal: The son of Barry and Michelle Bumbaugh. Majoring in secondary education/mathematics.
