Prior to Shepherd: A 2025 graduate of James Wood High School where he played baseball for Adrian Pullen ... gained second team All-Northwestern District honors as an outfielder as a junior ... Garnered first team All-Northwestern District (1st team for outfield, and pitching), second team All-Region 4D (outfield and pitching), All Northwestern District Co-Player of the Year, James Wood High School Offensive MVP, and first team Winchester Star All-Area Baseball Team accolades ... recorded a .519 OBP .519,.387 batting average,  19 runs, 17 RBI, and 12 stolen bases as a senior .. added  a 2.37 ERA, 64 strikeouts, and an 0.99 WHIP 0.99 in 44.1 innings.

Personal: The son of Tommie and Robert Bower ... majoring in secondary education/physical education ... his father, Robert Bower, played football at Mansfield (1993-97) ... his brother, Brody Bower,  played baseball at Eastern University, Pennsylvania and Shenandoah University (2022-current (2025).
