2015: Appeared and started in all 51 games ... named MEC Player of the Year and gained first team All-MEC honors as he batted a team-best .442 with 72 hits in 163 at-bats... drove in 52 runs and scored a team-high 65 ... added team-bests of 19 doubles and three triples ... his 10 home runs were second on the team ... also topped the team with a .779 slugging percentage, a .550 on-base percentage, and 127 total bases ... named MEC Player of the Week for March 9 ...  led NCAA II in hit-by-pitch (27) and hit-by-pitch per game (0.53) categories ... named to MEC All-Tournament Team ... garnered second team All-American honors from Daktronics and NCBWA.

2014: Appeared in 46 games with 42 starts ... batted .388 with 50 hits in 129 at-bats... scored 44 runs and drove in 38 ... added eight doubles, a triple, and three home runs... was 19-of-22 in stolen bases ... was hit-by-pitch a team-best 27 times and set a season mark...gained second team All-MEC honors... led NCAA II in hit-by-pitch (27) and hit-by-pitch per game (0.59) categories ... also garnered second team NCBWA All-Region accolades.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2008 graduate of Archbishop Curley High School where he played baseball for Bill Fritz ... lettered in baseball and soccer ... served as a team captain ... a transfer from CCBC Essex.

Personal: The son of Terry and Carol Wilson ... majoring in sport marketing.
