Prior to Shepherd: A 2017 graduate of Walkersville High School where he played baseball for Eric Greene ... a transfer from Frederick Community College where he played baseball for Rodney Bennett ... posted a 6-5 mark with 25 strikeouts in 33 innings and a 1.64 ERA at FCC.

Personal: The son of Allison and Thomas Grant ... majoring in sports and event management ... his aunt, April Logan, attended Shepherd.
