2022: Appeared in 12 games with five starts ... posted a 2-0 mark with a a 3.22 ERA ... fanned 50 and walked 13 in 44.2 innings ... led the staff with two complete games ,... added a shutout and a save ... had a 1.16 WHIP ... had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in nine chances ... named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA II Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week  for May 3 after tossing a complete game two-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts and a walk in a 1-0 win over Tiffin.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2017 graduate of Smithsburg High School where he played baseball for Trey Cobb ... led Smithsburg to the 2014 state championship ... holds the school strikeout record ... garnered All-State honors as a senior ... a transfer from Radford University where he played baseball for Karl Kuhn ...  posted a 1-1 record and 6.14 ERA in 29.1 innings with 26 strikeouts as a freshman ... posted a 1-0 record with a 3.38 ERA in 24 innings with 21 strikeouts as a sophomore ... recorded a 0-0 record with a 2.29 ERA in 19.2 innings with 17 strikeouts as a junior.
