2016: Appeared in 33 games, with eight starts a a pitcher...named MEC Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive year as he topped the Shepherd pitching staff with a 9-1 mark with a team-best 3.16 ERA ... fanned 50 in 62.2 innings ... added a team-best five complete games ... batted .273 with 18 hits in 66 at-bats ... drove in 12 runs and scored 14 ... had four doubles, a triple and four home runs ...garnered All-Region honors from D2CCA (first team), NCBWA (second team) and ABCA/Rawlings (second team).

2015: Appeared in 16 games with 14 starts as a pitcher...named MEC Pitcher of the Year as he posted an 11-3 mark on the mound with a team-best 1.71 ERA... fanned 86 in 84 innings... batted .333 with 16 hits in 48 at-bats ... drove in 17 runs and scored 11 ... added two doubles and a triple ... garnered honorable mention All-American honors from Daktronics and NCBWA ... also a first team Daktronics and NCBWA All-Region choice... his 11 wins tied a Shepherd single season mark.

2014: Appeared in eight games with four starts a a pitcher...posted a 2-1 mark on the mound with three saves and a 5.74 ERA...recorded 15 strikeouts in 9.0 innings... his three saves tied Ryan Pansch for the team lead... batted .188 with three hits in 16 at-bats... scored three runs and drove in three... was 1-of-1 in stolen bases.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2010 graduate of Northern York High School where he played baseball for Brian Robeson...a member of the Mid-Penn and Colonial Division champion teams... a two-time Patriot News Big 11 selection... recorded a 20-5 record on the mound with 191 strikeouts... a transfer from Frederick Community College.

Personal: The son of Bill and Lisa Crater... majoring in sport management.
