Prior to Shepherd: A 2020 graduate of Martinsburg High School where he played baseball for Aaron Beiler ... lettered three years in football and two in baseball ... was a first team All-State linebacker and a finalist for the Huff Award ... garnered honorable mention All-State honors as a utility player ... had a .355 career batting average.

Personal: The son of Brian and Emily Sine ... majoring in health promotion and exercise science ... his father, Brian, was a two-year starter at linebacker for West Virginia Wesleyan.
