2016:  Appeared in eight games with one start ... batted .222 with two hits in nine at-bats .... had a 1.000 fielding percentage in three chances.

2015: Appeared in three games with two starts... did not record a hit in four at-bats... drove in a run with a sacrifice fly...drew a pair of walks.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2012 graduate of Hamilton High School hwere he played baseball for Mark Pienciak... lettered four years in baseball and two in soccer... gained All-County and All-Area honors... a transfer from Delaware Tech Community College where he batted .348 as a freshman and .398 as a sophomore.

Personal: The son of Roseann Sorrentino... majoring in sociology... his brother, Joey Sorrentino, played on the USA soccer team
