Prior to Shepherd: A 2016 grad of Urbana High School where he played for Dave Mencarini... also member of the wrestling team... 2015 All-State honorable mention... received Team MVP award... garnered All-County First Team honors.. played for the Metro All-Stars in the 2015 BTC All-Star Classic... won 2012 wrestling State Championship.

Personal: Son of Jose Silva and Maria Vodniza.
