2019: Appeared and started  in 12 games ... gained first team All-PSAC East  honors as he led the Rams with 106 tackles (66 solo) ... had 7 tackles-for-loss (-22 yards) and two sacks (-12 yards) ... added three pass breakups, an interception (22 yards), a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery ... had a season-high 10 solo tackles in season opener against Ohio Dominican ... posted a season-high 12 tackles against IUP ... recorded 10 tackles or more on five occasions ... earned second team Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Region honors.

2018: Appeared and started in all 10 games ... selected as a team captain ... gained first team All-MEC honors as he recorded a team-best 78 tackles (47 solo) .. added 10.5 tackles (-62 yards) and 3.0 sacks (-20 yards) ... forced a pair of fumbles ... recorded a career-high 15 tackles against Notre Dame in season opener ... had 10 tackles or more on two occasions.

2017: Appeared in eight games with three starts ... gained honorable mention All-MEC honors as he recorded 33 tackles (23 solo) with 5.0 tackles-for-loss (-6 yards) and one sack (-2 yards) ... added an interception and a fumble recovery ... had a season-high seven tackles against UVa-Wise.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2017 graduate of Dundalk High School where he played football for Sean Sandora ... a four-year letterwinner and a team captain on the football team ... also lettered in track and field ... recorded over 300 career tackles.
