Prior to Shepherd: A 2014 graduate of Linganore High School where he played football for Rick Conner... lettered in football and lacrosse... a three-year starter... quarterbacked and captained the 2013 state finalist team... named a Baltimore TD Club All-Star...a two-time Frederick News-Post All-Area choice... an All-Conference and All-State selection as a senior.... led team to Maryland 3A West Region championship in 2013.

Personal: The son of David and Tricia Stieren... majoring in sports marketing... his father, David Stieren, played baseball at Navy and Catholic University.
