Contributed six pass breakups, three forced fumbles, a pair of blocked kicks and two interceptions. Had seven punt returns for 221 yards (31.6 average) and a touchdown. Added 15 kickoff returns for 195 yards (13.0 average). Earned MEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Oct.12 when he had an 86-yard punt return for a score and added six solo tackles on defense in a win over Glenville State.
2012: Appeared in 11 games with 10 starts. Gained First Team All-WVIAC honors as he ranked second on the team with 52 total tackles (40 solo stops). Had 17 punt returns for 186 yards (10.9 average) and a touchdown. Added 14 kickoff returns for 289 yards (20.6 average) and a touchdown. Earned WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Returned both a punt and a kickoff for scores in win over West Virginia State to garner D2Football.com and WVIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Oct. 22. A First Team All-Region choice by Daktronics and Don Hansen's Football Gazette. A Second Team All-American selection by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.
2011: Appeared and started in two games. Recorded seven tackles with two solo stops. Added a forced fumble and an interception. Had nine punt returns for a 10.3 average and three kickoff returns for a 20.7 average.
2010: Appeared and started in all 14 games. Gained First Team All-WVIAC honors as he recorded 65 tackles (team-best 59 solos). Added 11 pass breakups, 10 interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Had 16 kickoff returns for 336 yards (21.0 avg.) and nine punt returns for 87 yards (9.7 avg.). His 10 interceptions were the most in NCAA II, while his 222 interception return yards set a new Shepherd single season mark. Posted three runback touchdowns with a pair of scores on interceptions and a kickoff return score. Named a Second Team All-American by AP Little All-America, Daktronics, Don Hansen’s Football Gazette, and D2Football.com.
