Prior to Shepherd: A 2019 graduate of Gray Collegiate Academy where he played football for Adam Holmes ... lettered as a wide receiver, cornerback, and running back .… earned All-Region honors and had a 56-yard TD reception in Columbia Metro Bowl…was selected as Player of the Week on ABC News 19…holds the school record for the broad jump ... a transfer from VMI where he played football for Danny Rocco ... Appeared in nine games and totaled 14 tackles as a junior ... played in seven games with one stop as a redshirt-sophomore ...  appeared in all eight games with two tackles, an interception, and a pass defended  ... recorded his first career interception in playoff game at James Madison… appeared in five games as a freshman and was credited with a tackle against Mercer.
